We are looking for a motivated Junior Application Support Engineer to join our Implementation & Support Team. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days a week in our Sarıyer/Istanbul office.
How will be your day like;
- Assist in the day-to-day administration and operational management of applications
- Support application installation, upgrade and patch activities
- Help investigate application issues by collecting logs and basic system information
- Work closely with senior engineers and development teams during troubleshooting and testing activities
- Assist in providing remote technical support to customers
- Participate in regular system and application health checks
- Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities
Professional skills and knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support, application support or system administration
- Basic knowledge of IP networking fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments
- Basic knowledge of SQL databases
- Familiarity with Microsoft IIS is a plus
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux systems is considered an advantage
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English
- Prior knowledge of SWIFT is not required, as technical training will be provided.
